Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support our fleet customers by performing on-site service calls and on-location maintenance. You will diagnose and repair trucks using diagnostic equipment and document all work in the mobile service program.

Expect to maintain the fleet per company standards, manage service truck inventory, and be available for after-hours service. Certifications with Peterbilt/International/Ford/Hino/Isuzu/Cummins/ASE are preferred and

Qualificações

• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or truck service facility.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by the FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability is a must.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, ASE certifications are preferred & rewarded.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and required inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and be assigned daily duties.
• Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and open work schedule.
• Perform diagnostic and documentation functions in the company system.
• Diagnose, remove and replace parts and perform proper repair procedures.
• Read job orders, observe vehicle operation, and plan work procedures.
