Job summary

Torque by Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Experienced Mobile Automotive and Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet in Indianapolis, IN. You will diagnose and repair heavy‑duty vehicles, perform PMs, and coordinate with customers while driving a company service truck.

The role offers weekly pay, a $36.00/hour base rate (experience-based), and a retention bonus of $2,000 per quarter in year one. Benefits include a fuel card, company cell, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Four years or more relevant work experience preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• Must have minimum tools required by Ryder policy.

Responsibilities

• Make decisions on vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Coordinate with customers and drivers to determine repair needs and timelines.
• Lead and instruct other technicians when required.
