Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician in Austin, IN to support our truck fleet. The role offers $34.00 per hour, weekly pay, and a retention bonus with a flexible 40-hour work week.

You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy- and medium-duty equipment, with opportunities for training and advancement. Benefits include medical, dental, vision after 30 days and PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Vocational or technical certification or post-secondary degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and independently facilitate preventive maintenance, repair estimates, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate work schedules with customers; road test vehicles to identify repair causes and ensure quality.
• Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle repairs across systems (A/C & Heater, Brakes, Electrical, Cooling, etc.).
• Maintain compliance with safety, DOT and company procedures; document repairs and communicate with customers.
