Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an experienced Mobile Auto and Diesel Technician in Dallas, TX. You will diagnose, repair, and service heavy‑duty vehicles at customer sites, using state‑of‑the‑art tools and diagnostics, with a focus on quality and uptime.

The role offers weekly pay, a flexible 40‑hour schedule, incentive opportunities, and comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision after 30 days and a 401(k) match. CDL‑A is preferred and path-to-advancement is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/Technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant mechanical repair experience.
• CDL Class A preferred; ability to drive Ryder vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and preventive maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to facilitate preventive maintenance, repairs and estimates.
• Road test vehicles to identify causes of complaints and verify repairs.
• Perform PMs and repairs across systems including A/C, brakes, electrical and diesel engines.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to company systems and safety requirements.
• Assist in shop and field service duties as assigned.
