Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Saint Joseph, MO, is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to maintain fleets on client sites. You will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and service calls, documenting work and communicating clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility is needed.
• Must hold a current and valid CDL and Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment to company standards.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engine trucks and related equipment.
• Respond to service calls and maintain positive customer relations.
• Document and report work to the Service Manager; follow daily assignments.
• Maintain and inventory tools for service trucks and issued equipment.
• Assist with training and apply new knowledge on the job.
