Job summary

W.W. Williams is seeking a Mobile Fleet Technician to perform on-site preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy trucks at customer locations. You will diagnose electrical, A/C, emissions systems and ensure DOT compliance while maintaining accurate service records.

The role requires 3+ years of diesel repair experience, a valid driver's license, and ASE certifications. Join a team that values safety, training, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years diesel repair experience; 5–7 years preferred in fleet or mobile tech settings.
• Technical school certificate or equivalent hands-on training.
• Valid Driver’s License and DOT Medical Card.
• ASE Certifications: T4, T7, T8.
• MACS 609 or equivalent mobile A/C certification.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting across brake, emissions, electrical, HVAC.
• Proficient with diagnostic software and MS Office.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy trucks at customer sites.
• Inspect vehicles and create repair plans with estimated labor hours and parts.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, HVAC, emissions systems; complete PMs and inspections.
• Document work thoroughly and maintain records for invoicing and warranties.
• Utilize diagnostic software and follow repair procedures; maintain tools and inventory.
• Support and train junior technicians; adhere to safety and EPA policies.
