Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic responsible for maintaining our fleet and handling on-site service calls at client locations. You will provide service to customers, perform cleaning, maintenance, inspections, and component removal or replacement as required.You will diagnose issues with diesel engines using diagnostic equipment, read job orders, document work in the company system, manage tool and parts inventory, and participate in training to stay current.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CDL license and Medical card are required by FMVS.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspections on trucks.
• Manage inventory on the service truck and stocked parts.
• Read job orders and plan procedures based on vehicle operation.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and manuals to perform repairs.
