Job summary

MFS Fleet Service is seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Technician for the Dallas, TX area. This full-time, mobile role involves diagnosing, maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles at customer sites, with a fully equipped service truck and guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, brake and transmission work, electrical troubleshooting, and accurate record-keeping. A $2,400 sign-on bonus is offered along with relocation assistance and tools provided to perform the job safely

Qualifications

Proven experience as a diesel technician.
Strong mechanical knowledge and automotive diagnostics.
Familiarity with OEM specs (e.g., Caterpillar).
Proficient with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to lift heavy equipment during repairs.
Electrical troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Brake, transmission, alignment, and suspension work.
Use hand/power tools and welding equipment for repair and fabrication.
Read and interpret schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems.
Provide clear communications with customers and maintain repair records.
Operate heavy equipment for testing and repair as needed.
Troubleshoot wiring and electrical issues.
