Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel/trailer technicians to perform on-site repairs and inspections at customer locations across the Dallas area. Techs operate mobile service units and handle maintenance on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, aligning with DOT and safety standards.

You’ll use on-site tools, enter labor hours, and manage parts locally. The role requires a valid license, good communication, and willingness to work varied hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
• Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.
