Prestige Fleet Services in Dallas, TX is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians to join our on-site maintenance team. You will perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, handle DOT inspections, and manage service orders on a company device.

The role requires at least 3 years of repair experience, a valid driver’s license, strong communication, and the ability to work extended hours, including weekends or holidays when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills required.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders including labor hours and statuses.
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsabilités

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, etc.).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open/close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly.
