Job description

Prestige Fleet Services performs on-site truck and trailer maintenance and repairs. We understand today’s fleet maintenance demands and offer top mobile technicians, equipped service trucks, and a team of outstanding professionals to provide exceptional customer service. We offer a competitive compensation package with excellent benefits. We are seeking mobile technicians to join our team!

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
2. Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
3. Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components.
4. Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device.
5. Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
6. Accurately complete DOT forms and all other documentation in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 years of diesel repair experience preferred.
2. Strong communication skills.
3. Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
4. Valid Driver’s License required.
5. Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
6. Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders, including adding labor hours and updating work order statuses.
7. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, or crawl.
8. Must be able to stand for long periods (1-2 hours).
9. Two years' experience performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
10. Salary range: $29-$39/hr, depending on experience.
