Pay Range

Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $45.00/hr

$4000.00 New Hire Bonus: 50% after 30 days and 50% after 180 days.

Position Overview

FSCA is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II responsible for performing licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics. The role involves advanced diagnostics and repairs under supervision, continuous learning of mechanical skills, and achieving high performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile environment.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck components such as electrical, brake, cooling, engine electronics, and more.
• Diagnose, test, and repair equipment using appropriate instruments.
• Road test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain company-issued service vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to assess needs and resolve issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Own a set of hand tools necessary for the job.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Pass DOT-regulated background screening and physical.
• Valid DOT medical card or equivalent.
• At least 21 years old due to interstate commerce regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year MVR review.
