Job summary

True North Fleet Services is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician to support Elite Diesel in Savannah, GA. You will perform PMs, diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems in a mobile service setting, ensuring fleet uptime and safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and ongoing skill development with ASE certs and on-the-job training opportunities. This is a full-time, on-site mobile position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years diesel experience in fleets, dealerships, or independent shops.
• Mobile service experience required.
• ASE TSeries certifications preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance programs.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, steering, and electrical components.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues.
• Complete DOT inspections and ensure compliance standards.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized mobile work environment.
• Collaborate with drivers, service advisors, and leadership.
