Job summary

Palmer Trucks is seeking a Service Mobile Technician to operate from a service mobile unit. The role requires high safety standards and independent work, with emphasis on secure environments for equipment and personnel.

Responsibilities include maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and using specialized tools. Driving duties and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements are essential components of the job.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic computer skills and repair order processing software.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance procedures on service mobile units.
• Run diagnostic tests for issues, failures and performance.
• Determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.
• Routinely use computerized equipment and specialized tooling.
• Complete assigned repairs and tasks in a timely and safe manner.
• Accurately records time, cause and correction on Repair Orders.
• Test components before and after repairs when driving trucks.
