Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to travel to customer facilities performing preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair to ensure customers are back on the road efficiently and safely.

The role requires DOT physical annually, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and basic computer skills. Travel, nights/weekends, and holidays may be required, with competitive wages and benefits

Qualifications

• Experience in repair or parts shop preferred.
• Must pass a DOT physical annually.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to a customer’s facility or distribution center to perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose wear conditions and make recommendations to customers.
• Follow safety guidelines and report potentially unsafe situations.
• Provide accurate, efficient service to troubleshoot and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers.
