Job summary

Mechanics Hub in Chester, PA is hiring a Diesel Road Service Technician to repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, construction equipment and industrial machinery. You’ll diagnose, repair and service in the field and shop, with on-call road service and a Monday–Friday day shift.

A percentage-based pay on road work plus a robust benefits package is offered. Ideal candidates bring diesel, electrical, air brake, hydraulic, and troubleshooting experience, plus a valid license and basic digital reporting

Qualifications

Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulic and brake systems.
Willingness to perform roadside service and work independently on equipment in the field.

Responsibilities

Respond to roadside breakdowns and diagnose mechanical issues in the field.
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and industrial machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, air brake, fuel, wiring, and engine systems.
Perform preventive maintenance, routine service, and emergency repairs in the field and shop.
Complete service reports and work orders while communicating repair updates with dispatch and customers.
Maintain service truck inventory, shop tools, and equipment following safety procedures and DOT regulations.
