Job summary

Mechanics Hub in Chester, PA is hiring a Diesel Road Service Technician to repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, construction equipment and industrial machinery. You’ll diagnose, repair and service in the field and shop, with on-call road service and a Monday–Friday day shift.

A percentage-based pay on road work plus a robust benefits package is offered. Ideal candidates bring diesel, electrical, air brake, hydraulic, and troubleshooting experience, plus a valid license and basic digital reporting

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulic and brake systems.
• Willingness to perform roadside service and work independently on equipment in the field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside breakdowns and diagnose mechanical issues in the field.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, air brake, fuel, wiring, and engine systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine service, and emergency repairs in the field and shop.
• Complete service reports and work orders while communicating repair updates with dispatch and customers.
• Maintain service truck inventory, shop tools, and equipment following safety procedures and DOT regulations.
