Job summary

Hill International Trucks in New Philadelphia and Canton, OH, is seeking Diesel Technicians to support our mobile maintenance department. You will diagnose and repair diesel engines, perform roadside and on-site service, and ensure work meets dealership and factory standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience as a diesel technician.
• Some computer skills preferred.
• ASE Certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
• Ensures vehicle is kept clean and safe; reports safety issues immediately.
