Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring an experienced Diesel Technician in Mobile (AL area). The role involves servicing heavy-duty vehicles with a Mon–Fri schedule on first shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Eligible for competitive hourly pay, sign-on bonuses, and extensive benefits after eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of heavy/medium duty repair experience.
• CDL Class A or willingness to obtain required.
• Pass Ryder drug test and background checks including DOT.
• Valid driver license and ability to drive Ryder vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to facilitate preventative maintenance, repairs, and estimates.
• Road test vehicles to identify causes of repairs and verify quality of work.
• Perform preventive maintenance and major repairs on heavy/medium duty vehicles.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
