Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Dothan, AL is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to maintain and repair heavy-duty vehicles. You’ll work Monday–Friday with weekends off, 8:30 am–5:00 pm, and enjoy weekly pay plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/Technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• 2+ years in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Identifies root cause of basic failures and performs repairs.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Ensures compliance with safety/DOT/MOT guidelines.
