Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in the field, with your own company service truck, premium tools, and ongoing support from a tight-knit team.

Expect a Monday-Friday style schedule, competitive pay of $34-38/hour, weekly pay, a company fuel card, and full benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise to keep fleets safe.
• Strong communication skills for customer and driver interactions.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools to document repairs.
• Ready to work outdoors in various weather and environments.
• Independent, dependable, and safety-first mindset.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Bring your own hand tools; company supplies other essentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems to keep fleets running.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet top-quality standards.
