Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment with company tools while enjoying independence and a service truck provided to take home.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and handheld computers to identify and fix issues quickly.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
• Road test vehicles to confirm repair quality and safety standards.
• Meet or beat industry-standard repair times.
• Collaborate with trusted vendors to source parts.
• Take ownership of a company-issued service truck and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
