Job summary

A leading commercial truck service provider in Lufkin, Texas is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment at client locations, conducting diagnostics, and fostering customer relations. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma, five years of relevant experience, and mechanical aptitude. Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current CDL preferred but not required.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, & ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with fuel.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck.
• Read job order and determine malfunction.
• Utilize various diagnostic equipment to determine malfunction.
• Perform diagnostic and documentation functions on the company computer.
