Job summary

Honey Bucket, a division of Northwest Cascade, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic based in Taylor, TX to support our fleet across Central Texas. You will perform on-site service calls, diagnose and repair diesel engines, and collaborate with shop leadership to keep equipment running smoothly.

Applicants should have at least 5 years in commercial fleet maintenance and own tools. Expect on-site work, DOT inspections, safety compliance, and a strong benefits package; this role is full-time with

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience in commercial fleet maintenance.
• Must have clean driving record and valid license.
• CDL is preferred.
• Welding certification and fabrication experience preferred.
• Own tools and proficiency with trade tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on fleet vehicles.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on diesel engines.
• Repair drive trains, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
• Diagnose hydraulic systems and components.
• Perform DOT inspections on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and keep records.
