Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking skilled mobile maintenance technicians to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You’ll perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance, while managing parts, labor entries, and DOT documentation from a service truck.

We value 3+ years in diesel and trailer repair, strong communication, and flexibility for extended hours. A valid license and tools are required for field work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends/holidays when needed.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Self-motivated with good organization and planning.
• Experience entering laborHours and updating work orders on a tablet/computer.
• 2 years of federal inspections and brake inspections experience.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components.
• Open/close repair orders on company devices.
• Procure parts from local vendors and manage service-truck inventory.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly.
