Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking skilled technicians to perform on-site repairs and inspections for Class 6-8 trucks and trailers. You will conduct maintenance, diagnostics, and part replacements at customer locations, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include DOT documentation, inventory management, and scheduling. The role requires 3+ years of diesel/trailer repair, a valid license, and flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays.
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
• Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other documentation in a timely fashion.
