Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You’ll operate a company service truck and use advanced tools to keep fleets road-ready.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Respond to emergency road service calls with urgency and accuracy.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and air systems.
• Use handheld computers and precision instruments to identify and fix issues quickly.
• Source parts with vendors and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
