Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in a mobile field setting.

You’ll work with a company-provided service truck, top-tier tools, and a supportive team. Bring your diesel expertise, strong safety mindset, and pride in keeping fleets road-ready across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Bring your own hand tools; company will supply rest of tools and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform onsite preventive maintenance, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Respond to emergency road service calls with urgency and professionalism.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems to keep fleets running.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet top-quality standards.
• Use handheld computers and diagnostics to identify and fix issues quickly.
• Take ownership of a company-issued service truck and perform pre-/post-trip inspections.
