Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related facility.
  • Certifications such as Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, & ASE are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Are you an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician looking for an opportunity to work for a leader in the commercial truck industry?

We are searching for experienced & certified technicians to support our customers!

Our Mobile Diesel Technicians are responsible for maintaining client fleets and handling service calls at customer locations, providing expedited on-site expertise for trucks & equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining equipment according to company standards.
  2. Performing basic truck maintenance such as fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
  3. Managing inventory control for the service truck and tools.
  4. Reporting to the Service Manager and completing assigned duties daily.
  5. Being available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedules.
  6. Maintaining and inventorying tools and supplies.
  7. Reading job orders and diagnosing vehicle malfunctions.
  8. Using diagnostic equipment and technical information to perform repairs.
  9. Replacing parts such as injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, and others as needed.
  10. Documenting work performed accurately in the company system.
  11. Checking safety devices and making adjustments.
  12. Lubricating parts and verifying repairs.
  13. Performing preventative maintenance.
  14. Communicating with customers and documenting service details.
  15. Advising customers on future repairs or services.
  16. Participating in training and applying learned skills.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related facility.
  • Current CDL (not required but preferred).
  • Medical card as per FMVSS requirements.
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
  • Certifications such as Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, & ASE are advantageous.
