Naumann Hobbs Material Handling, a trusted provider of mobile repair services in the Southwest, seeks a Mobile Diesel/Forklift Technician for our Phoenix team. This role focuses on heavy-duty truck and forklift repair and maintenance, with work both in shop and in the field.

You’ll diagnose, repair, and service diverse equipment while ensuring safety and reliability. Candidates should have 5+ years in forklift/heavy equipment, strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic knowledge, a valid license,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/mechanics certification preferred.
• 5+ years of forklift/heavy equipment experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (vehicle provided for field work).
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Must supply own tools (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, forklifts, and heavy equipment (gas, diesel, and electric).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety.
• Conduct inspections and tests to proactively identify potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
• Respond to service calls for both shop and field repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in forklift and material handling technology.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
