Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Mobile Device Recycling Specialist to manage the end-to-end recycling process for mobile devices while coordinating with cross-functional teams in Retail Operations, Security, and Financial Strategy.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher and 1+ years’ experience in telecom, logistics, or customer service, with strong inventory controls and vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required; majors in SCM, Logistics, Business Admin, IT, MIS are highly preferred.
• 1+ years of professional experience in telecom, logistics, project coordination, or customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) in Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-production samples and testing shipments, tracking distributions and transfers.
• Audit and monitor the lifecycle of mobile samples and devices, ensuring secure tracking and recycling processing.
• Guide bi-annual sample inventory audits and perform physical scanning to maintain database accuracy.
• Coordinate with telecommunication vendors to enable/disable mobile services and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations, Security, and Finance on bulky sample registrations and system issues.
• Provide cross-training and remote backup to ensure operations run during business hours.
