Job summary

The Minidoka County Schools is seeking a Roving Custodian to perform routine custodial, maintenance, cleaning, and grounds-keeping tasks in school buildings and on grounds to sustain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment. The role may be assigned to other maintenance duties district-wide, with schedules varying by need.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, performing basic repairs, maintaining HVAC and grounds areas, and supporting events setup while following district safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid Idaho driver’s license required.
• Experience in custodial or facilities maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors, clean restrooms, and maintain classrooms and common areas.
• Operate, maintain and perform minor repairs to custodial equipment and tools.
• Assist in grounds-keeping tasks and respond to custodial needs during shifts.
• Set up for events and maintain cleaning supply inventories.
• Follow district safety procedures and report maintenance issues promptly.
