Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group’s New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA seeks a CT Technologist to perform high-quality imaging and deliver a positive patient experience. You will operate CT equipment, uphold ALARA standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a mobile unit setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1 year radiology experience minimum.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently and maintain ALARA standards.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and use two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and provide patient comfort and safety throughout the visit.
• Manage documentation in RIS/PACS and ensure proper study finalization.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Organize daily workflow to meet timeframes and support department operations.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
