Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRTR (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT CT – ARRT Computed Tomography certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Work independently operating imaging equipment safely and maintaining ALARA dose levels.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders and two identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and privacy during visits.
• Complete accurate timely documentation in RIS/PACS and finalize studies.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
