Job summary

The role emphasizes handling imaging equipment, maintaining infection control, and documenting results with precision while adapting to a dynamic mobile unit environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required.
• ARRT Radiography and ARRT CT certifications; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and optimize technique for ALARA dosing.
• Maintain infection control and report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures clearly and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout visits.
• Document exams timely in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as required.
• Collaborate to maintain department workflow and supply rooms.
