Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT (Radiography) and ARRT CT certifications.
• BLS certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently and minimize dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders with two patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety during visits.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol with proper technique.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and complete timely documentation in RIS/PACS.
