Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently and maintain radiation safety to ALARA standards.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and use patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and pre/post-care using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability, repeat if needed, and document findings timely in RIS/PACS.
