Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.

Aufgaben

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, using technical knowledge to capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment independently and maintain ALARA dose.
• Disinfect, clean, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol with venipuncture as needed.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, restock and maintain equipment.
• Organize daily workflows to meet timeframes and support department flow.
• Support operations, maintain orderly areas, and escalate issues to supervisor.
