Qualifikationen

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• No experience required; internship exposure acceptable.
• Radiologic license requirements and ARRT certifications to be obtained.

• Operates CT equipment to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures.
• Obtains medical history and verifies orders for exam accuracy.
• Positions patient and adjusts scanning factors for image quality while enforcing radiation safety.
• Administers contrast media under Radiologist direction and assists with technique.
• Post-processes images and labels studies with patient data for accurate interpretation.
• Documents procedures and billing codes in the radiology information system.
• Performs equipment QA tests and reports malfunctions.
• Assists with patient transport and adheres to age-specific care needs.
• Maintains knowledge of growth and development relevant to patient Age groups.
