Job summary

Advocate Health’s Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA seeks a CT Technologist for full-time night/weekend coverage. The role performs CT scans, reviews orders with Radiologists, ensures patient identification, and upholds radiation safety standards.

You will handle IV contrast per protocol and document thoroughly in the EMR. Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB with ARRT CT registry within one year, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB-accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Must perform with physical endurance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and consult Radiologist for discrepancies.
• Identify patients and prepare them with explanations of procedures.
• Review EMR for history and correlate results with exam performed.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA; maintain sterile technique.
• Operate radiology systems and document contrast administration per protocol.
