Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist for the Radiology department. You will review orders with radiologists, prepare patients, document procedures, and perform CT imaging with attention to safety and accuracy.

The role requires handling medical history, coordinating with care teams, and supporting invasive procedures as needed. This is a full-time position at 36 hours per week, with three 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry in CT within one year of hire.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders with the Radiologist before performing exams.
• Identify patients, prepare them and document procedures.
• Collect medical history from EMR and correlate results with the exam.
• Perform CT scanning and assist during invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and proper sterile technique.
• Rotate shifts, including call back, holidays and weekends.

Education
