CHR in Manchester, CT is seeking a CrisisTherapist / Outreach Therapist for a Full-time, 40 hours/week role with a Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM schedule. The Mobile Crisis Intervention Services program delivers 24/7 crisis support for children and families, aiming to prevent hospitalization and strengthen communities.

The position offers supervision, a supportive team, a company car, quarterly productivity bonuses, and extensive benefits.

Competenze

• Master’s degree or higher in mental health field.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist.
• Licensure eligibility: LCSW, LMFT, LPC; licensed preferred.

Mansioni

• Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with fidelity to the issue-based model.
• Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes.
• Demonstrates competency in age-related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
• Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural supports.
• Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers.
• Provides crisis assessment and intervention to monitor status of clients in crisis.
• Performs home and community based care.
• Responsible for maintaining client and staff records according to agency policy.
• Provides coverage for team members during periods of absence.
• Participates in weekly supervision and meetings to review client and program progress.
