Job summary

Child & Family Services Inc. seeks a Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician to provide rapid, on-site mental health crisis response for adults, youth and families.

The role emphasizes rapid assessment, stabilization and linkage to higher care while reducing danger and hospitalizations. Position offers 2nd and 3rd shift options with travel across catchment areas; licensure eligibility and wraparound experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or other licensure eligible program.
• License eligible for LICSW, LMHC, LMFT or LADC-I.
• Minimum one year of experience with adults and/or children and families in a clinical role.
• Knowledge of wraparound services and crisis intervention indicated.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile, on-site, face-to-face therapeutic response to crisis to stabilize individuals and reduce risk.
• Post-crisis evaluation and follow-up; coordinate referrals and psychoeducation for families.
• Collaborate with staff, attend community meetings, and assist with advocacy and safety planning.
• Complete intake data by phone or on-site; assess health coverage and perform mental health status exams.
• Triage via call center and respond to emergencies; may work nights/weekends; travel as needed.
• Maintain licensure via continuing education and participate in supervision and training.
