Job summary

The Staff Pad in Helena, MT is seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed crisis response across homes, schools, healthcare settings, and public spaces.

You will provide risk assessments, crisis intervention, safety planning, and follow-up connections to ongoing services, with a focus on de-escalation and collaboration with local law enforcement, EMS, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling.
• Active SWLC or PCLC licensure (or eligibility).
• 1–3 years of clinical crisis experience (preferred).
• Therapist II requires active LCSW or LCPC (or eligible).
• 2+ years of clinical experience for licensed level.

Responsibilities

• Respond to behavioral health crises in the community.
• Conduct mental health and risk assessments.
• Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and brief therapeutic support.
• Develop safety plans and determine appropriate levels of care.
• Coordinate follow-up care and connect individuals to ongoing services.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, EMS, and community partners.
• Complete timely documentation and support billing workflows.
• Provide follow-up outreach (up to 14 days post-crisis).
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training.
