Community Counseling Center (CCC) in Missouri is seeking a PRN Mobile Crisis Response professional to assess and disposition crisis emergencies across Bollinger, Cape, Madison, Perry, and Ste Genevieve counties. You will respond to individuals at risk and coordinate safety plans with local law enforcement and emergency departments.
You will also provide agency discharge documentation as needed and ensure timely follow-up on dispositions to link clients to services and supports.
CCC Service Area (Cape Girardeau, Fredericktown, Marble Hill, Perryville, and Ste Genevieve MO)
As Mobile Crisis Response personnel, you would be responsible for the assessment/disposition of crisis emergencies for the CCC Service area of Bollinger, Cape, Madison, Perry, and Ste Genevieve Counties. You would be responding to individuals who are at risk of harming themselves, or others, and conduct assessments of the individual's current situation to ensure their safety and determine the best course of treatment. In this role, you will be working extremely closely with local law enforcement and emergency departments. With this position, you would also be responsible for providing agency discharge documentation as needed.
Crisis Intervention involves outreach services for individuals who are at risk of harming themselves or others. Master degreed professionals conduct nonjudgmental assessments of individuals' current situations to ensure their physical and psychological safety and to determine disposition for treatment.
Community Counseling Center (CCC) in conjunction with the Department of Mental Health provides an 800 Crisis Line through a regional contract between all Administrative Agents in the Southeast Region of the State and Behavioral health Response (BHR) in St Louis. The system, Missouri Access Crisis and Response System (MOCARS) involves emergency calls to be screened by BHR, which forwards the caller's information to the center's on - call staff. Assessment and disposition occur in emergency rooms and law enforcement offices located in the counties of Bollinger, Cape, Madison, Perry, and Ste Genevieve Missouri.
