Job summary

Elevate seeks Mobile Crisis Response team members to provide on-call mental health crisis response in the community. You will act as part of a two-person team or with law enforcement, respond to calls quickly, and coordinate with healthcare and law enforcement partners.

Responsibilities include professional representation of Elevate, data entry, and rapid on-call deployment; a valid driver’s license and crisis intervention experience are required.

Qualifications

• Crisis Intervention with experience in suicide intervention, and postvention
• Must be available from 7am-7pm
• Current valid Driver's License
• Knowledge of community resources
• Experience assisting people with addiction, relationship difficulties, depression, stress, extreme poverty, mental illness, parenting etc.

Responsibilities

• Function as an effective team member and represent Elevate in a professional manner, complete related data entry, paperwork, and notify Elevate after call is completed
• Be accessible by telephone and prepared to respond to calls during all scheduled shifts, arrive at any client location within one hour of being called, coordinating arrival with co-worker in any situation requiring a two-person response and develop and maintain working relationships with other mental health practitioners, case managers, law enforcement officers, school personnel, hospital personnel, and other interested parties

Bachelor’s degree with 30 semester hours in human services + 1 year experience

Two years experience in law enforcement field

EMT with 2 years experience
