Job summary

Provident Healthcare Consulting seeks Mobile Response Team members to respond to mental health crises in the community. Teams work in pairs or with law enforcement.

You must be on call, flexible, and ready to arrive within one hour of dispatch, with strong collaboration across health professionals and first responders. Qualified candidates include licensed mental health professionals, or individuals with relevant degrees and crisis training, plus driving record and transportation.

Qualifications

• Crisis Intervention with experience in suicide intervention, and postvention.
• Must be available from 7am-7pm.
• Current valid Driver's License.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Experience assisting people with addiction, relationship difficulties, depression, stress, extreme poverty, mental illness, parenting etc.

Responsibilities

• Function as an effective team member and represent Elevate in a professional manner, complete related data entry, paperwork, and notify Elevate after call is completed
• Be accessible by telephone and prepared to respond to calls during all scheduled shifts, arrive at any client location within one hour of being called, coordinating arrival with co-worker in any situation requiring a two-person response and develop and maintain working relationships with other mental health practitioners, case managers, law enforcement officers, school personnel, hospital personnel, and other interested parties

Bachelor’s non-human services + 30 crisis training hours
