City of Virginia Beach, Department of Human Services, seeks three Mobile Crisis Response Clinician II to rapidly respond to behavioral health crises in the City and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include crisis response, assessments, documentation, and collaboration with community resources.

A QMHP credential and a four-year degree in human services are required. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with some holidays and weekends, and a $4,000 hiring bonus plus a $5,000 annual stipend

Qualificações

• Requires a four-year degree in a human services field and three years of related experience (or equivalent).
• Must be registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as QMHP.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to calls through Crisis Hub to provide community crisis services for adults in acute psychiatric crisis.
• Complete clinical documentation and billing submissions accurately and timely.
• Provide immediate crisis response including face-to-face contact with clients and families.
• Conduct intake assessments, crisis intervention assessments, obtain mental health history, and formulate/update diagnoses.
• Generate Crisis Education and Prevention Plan (CEPP) and related plans, update diagnoses as needed.
• Provide ongoing assessments and therapeutic crisis interventions or referrals as client needs evolve.
