State of South Carolina’s Office of Mental Health seeks a Mental Health Professional I for Mobile Crisis in Barnwell. The role provides recovery-oriented counseling, crisis intervention, and case management to the community, including after-hours coverage and on-call duties.

Competenze

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field and licensed or eligibility for LPC/LISW-CP/LMFT.
• Must pursue SC licensure within six months of hire.
• Must be able to become a SC Notary.
• Credentialing/privileging as a mental health professional per QA standards.

Mansioni

• Provide recovery-oriented counseling, crisis intervention, assessments, and related behavioral health services and/or case management.
• Provide advanced triage for psychiatric emergencies and routine appointments; assess and disposition for admission.
• Attach after-hours/on-call shifts; evenings/weekends/holidays; some on-call evenings/weekends per month.
• Documentation in QA and required standards; discharge planning and collaborative documentation.
• Build and maintain relationships with patients and community partners to facilitate linkages to services.
• Participate in meetings, supervision, and interagency staffing; attend community meetings.
• Ensure compliance with policies and accreditation needs; maintain certifications and licenses.
• Mentor/practicum students and interns; potential BHDD-OMH Student Loan Repayment eligibility.
