Job summary

State of South Carolina, Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Mental Health, is hiring a Mental Health Professional I for Mobile Crisis (Barnwell). The role provides crisis intervention, counseling, assessments, and case management to patients in Barnwell and surrounding areas, with after-hours/on-call responsibilities and required licensure within six months.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field and licensure eligibility as LPC, LISW-CP, or LMFT.
• Must be willing to pursue licensure in SC within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery-oriented counseling, crisis intervention, assessments, and case management.
• Perform after-hours/on-call mobile crisis coverage for the served counties.
• Maintain documentation per QA standards and complete required forms.
